List of rental accommodation available in the town hall
To meet new requirements in terms of living space, the Town of Les Herbiers holds a list of housing available to rent, which is updated weekly (from bedsits to houses).
A copy of this list can be obtained from the Services de l'Action Sociale of the Town of Les Herbiers, rue du Tourniquet (02 51 91 29 78), or it can be requested by e-mail (action-sociale@lesherbiers.fr).
Low-rental properties
A dossier can also be obtained from the "action sociale" service of the town to request low-rental housing from Social Landlords.

Build or buy
The municipality has launched two major operations in addition to numerous private projects:
- La Tibourgère, a new district in the town with housing covering more than 15 hectares (37 acres), comprising vacant plots, detached houses, and flats.
- The Val de la Pellinière, an exemplary housing estate in terms of contemporary architecture and respect for the environment, on which 150 homes will be built (vacant plots, detached houses, and flats).
